I've run into a problem I can't quite settle... Once peptides caught my attention, I dove in headfirst, determined to absorb as much as possible and go about my research in the smartest, safest way I can. My overall plan feels fairly solid at this point, but there's one piece I keep flip-flopping on: how to handle testing.

Everyone knows Janoshik is the benchmark that every other lab gets measured against, so the easy answer would be to ship everything their way and rest easy knowing I've covered all my bases. The complication is that Freedom appears to carry a reputation that's basically on par with anyone other than Janoshik himself (thoughts on that are welcome) and their facility is close enough that I can just drive over and hand in my order. As a matter of fact, that's exactly what I did today, and it couldn't have been simpler. So here's what I'm wondering...

1. When you ship an order halfway around the world to Jano, how much of a hassle is the process, and what kind of COST are we talking about?

2. From the standpoint of someone who's been using peptides for years, how much extra weight does a Jano COA really hold compared to Freedom? Am I making this more complicated than it needs to be? Should Freedom be the obvious pick since they're practically in my backyard, or is Jano's quality enough better that it ought to be the clear winner for me.

I learned through a bad experience that certain suppliers, once the purchase is done, will recognize only Janoshik's results. So when the goal is simply peace of mind that a product is safe for your own use, Freedom is the one I would send it to. But if you plan on bringing problematic results to your vendor to pursue a refund or a replacement, Jano likely gives you stronger backing.

For everything except endo, Freedom looks good to me. Were I in your position, convenience would lead me to the same choice. Jano handles an enormous volume and provides excellent service, though you pay accordingly.

I have a dilemma… I became interested in peptides and quickly realized I wanted to learn everything I could learn and research as wisely and safely as possible. I feel like I am developing a plan that is pretty solid but my testing strategy is something I keep going back and forth on.

It is obvious that Janoshik sets the bar for all other testing companies so I’d love to just send everything to them and know that I’m doing all I can. The hard part is that Freedom seems to have about as good of a reputation as anyone not named Janoshik (feel free to give your opinion on that) and I can literally drive to their facility and drop off my order. I’m fact, I did that today and it was SUPER simple. Here are my questions…

1. How cumbersome is the shipping process when sending an order across the world to Jano and what does the COST of that look like?

2. From the veteran peptide users’ perspective, just how much more weight does the Jano COA carry vs Freedom? Am I overthinking it? Is Freedom the no brainer because they’re just down the road from me or is the quality of the Jano product superior enough that it should be my clear choice.

What has your experience with Freedom been like? Have you sent them a large number of tests?

That-

Their endo tests work differently- however M/P appear to be acceptable.

It just won't be accepted by many vendors if looking for refund

I'm with Anhydrous and Skidude on this: Freedom's M/P work is reliable, yet when it comes to endo testing their reporting doesn't carry weight in the community, and the reasoning behind how they handle it genuinely doesn't hold up. If nobody keeps buying endo tests from them, that might be the push they need to reconsider their position.

One thing I want to know: can you really hand a sample over in person there? Some time ago I came across a post mentioning a lab that refused to take a sample directly, though I can't recall the specifics of that thread. Assuming they won't take it and mailing is the only route, a number of US labs look like they're doing solid work.
