I'm thinking about putting PNC-27 into my stack as a way to prevent cancer, and I'd like to hear from anyone else who has looked into it.
As far as I know, no human trials exist yet (which honestly surprises me), but in vitro and in lab mice this 38-sequence peptide selectively destroys cancer cells while leaving healthy normal cells alone. The science is obviously technical and my grasp of it is only basic, yet it has reportedly worked against a broad range of cancers, colon-rectal and pancreatic among them plus many others.
Roughly 40% of us will get some type of cancer during our lives, and although treatments to fight and cure it have advanced more and more rapidly, this looks like it could be a game changer.
Several years back I was fortunate: a CT scan done for an unrelated problem incidentally turned up a tumor. It was cancerous. Things have gone well so far, and years later the chance of it coming back is under 3%, but it has left me very conscious of the risk all of us carry. The idea of shutting that risk down appeals to me.
