I buy from 2 vendors. My primary vendor has run out of a lot of items, so I went ahead and ordered from my backup vendor instead. The backup vendor costs a bit more. Up to now, they appeared to carry everything I was after.

Wow. That other vendor running a group buy for R140 charges $320. I don't know about shipping costs. From what I noticed, that item is supplied in a 3ml vial. I went ahead and bought it.

Those lengthy inventory lists show what the manufacturers they buy from can offer, and then those items get sold on to us. That's typical for grey market CN products. Nearly all the vendors on this platform and other places aren't making or completing the goods themselves. Perhaps 1 or 2 do. The majority are independent sales reps or reps working for small resellers, picking up whatever they can, whenever they can, from any source they can.

Haven't given that platform a shot yet—what makes it superior? Is it widely adopted among sellers? I hardly come across it being brought up compared to TG or Discord.

Whoever created TG clearly had zero grasp of User Interface Design.

A handful of Chinese vendors, plus a group I'm familiar with, rely on WhatsApp for B/S/T — that's basically the extent of it — and a few IndiaMart pharmacies also use it to message.

For placing orders, Whatsapp works better when talking to your vendor, since it offers end-to-end encryption. The catch: new members who join later can't view pinned content such as price lists and payment details. As far as I know, there's no method to browse past posts.

TG and Discord let you pin items, and everyone can access the older posts. None of these platforms is flawless, but by now I've become accustomed to using all 3. Because of all the nuking happening on Discord, for the first time ever my TG groups outnumber my Discord ones.

What exactly are you noticing that gives the impression it's restricted? Search frequency was recently capped so the system doesn't get overloaded, but the content available to search shouldn't be any different. (Funnily enough, the server went down last week right as Elasticsearch was being set up to make searching better. )
