Woman in her mid-forties here. My GLP journey began in 2023 on sema, and I dropped 50 pounds before hitting a plateau. Last year I switched to tirz, but there was no loss — I stayed obese, though at least not back to morbid, so I suppose that counts for something. I had been holding out for reta to receive approval, but it looks like they're pursuing it as a biologic, which I'm guessing means it'll end up as a very pricey brand name. So I figured it's time to explore other options. Looking forward to learning!

Glad you're here. What a pain, though. Tirz only holding steady with zero movement is strange — hopefully reta gives you the boost you're after... And as the gray hairs come in, plenty of other peps exist that can lend a hand to your metabolism and back up your journey

It's really disappointing that the legal market shows zero genuine interest in assisting folks, sticking to those price points. I can say without a doubt that reta has been a miracle for me. I understand being stuck with that “hearty American appetite”. Regarding what you went through with tirz, my own results were pretty much the same. I began on reta, then moved to tirz hoping it would cut costs, but it didn't curb my hunger at all (ended up losing more money than I saved cry). Fingers crossed reta works out for you as well!

Thank you! Yeah, I had no clue how much was out there. Excited and nervous in equal measure.

Appreciate it! What's wild is that sema worked for me, and everybody swore tirz would blow it out of the water. So I've now gone through a 3rd pharmacy, this one with B6 added, which folks seem to rave about — but if this doesn't move the needle, I'm done with tirz.

Either way, I'm rooting for you. I've got 20 weeks' worth of tirz stockpiled, and the moment the reta arrives, it's going to a friend. Did they explain what benefit they expected the B6 to provide in your case?
