Hi there! I'm a 49-year-old guy living in the eastern part of the US. Tonight I'll take my 7th dose of tirzepatide—so far I've had 6 shots. For shots 7 and 8, I'm moving up to 5mg. My starting point was 1/22 at 2.5mg, when I weighed 251 lbs. Now I'm at 235.1, which means I've dropped 15.9 lbs. I stand 5'10", and my target weight is 170 lbs. Really glad I came across this community!

Great job, the results really are incredible! I'm 54 years old, stand 5'8", and my weight has dropped to 170 lbs. The 20 lbs came off quite fast, and shedding it felt wonderful. These days, my only goal is keeping things steady. You, on the other hand, are chasing a major transformation—so make the most of the ride! 💪

Those results are amazing! I'm researching Reta too. 3 weeks in and nothing on the weight loss front. Still on a lower dose but moving up this weekend. Hoping to see some great results before long.

thank you! yeah, the results have caught me off guard. to be honest, i haven't noticed much happening, yet the numbers on the scale say otherwise.

Reta has really caught my attention. I'm torn between continuing tirz once the initial 3-month titration phase wraps up, or making the switch to Reta.

Hey, I'm 49 too, and the "big 5" is coming up fast 🤯😀

Thanks to Tirzepatid I've dropped roughly 60 kg (I was at 170 kg before), but you have to lift weights. Once you're our age, losing muscle happens maddeningly fast when you're eating less.

For around 6 months I wasn't on TIRZE, and it actually went really well. During that stretch I shed more than 20kg. Then I switched to RETA, since time isn't on my side and I'm eager to build genuine muscle as soon as I hit my target weight and can raise my daily calories.

Beginning with a small amount is a wise move. My own starting point was 500 mcg, and across roughly a couple of months I worked upward to 2.5mg. I had no side effects. Results are coming in nicely at this point. It's striking how many folks jump in at 2mg and then stop right away because of side effects. Patience is key—raise your dose every 2 weeks. That way, you'll also discover the lowest dose that works for you.

The only thing I have experience with is Reta, and from what I can tell, it did the job extremely well in my case. Once I cut out sweets and booze, it became clear this stuff is basically a miracle. On top of that, I lost 20 lbs in 1.5 months, and I am not even obese to begin with. So yes, I would absolutely give reta a try.

appreciate it, Chris. i'm leaning toward giving that a try. only thing left is to look into how reconstitution works. the tirz i had was compounded, so there was no mixing step for me.
