Hey everyone, appreciate the solid resources you've put together. I found my way here after a podcast mentioned these peptides, and I'm keen to learn from others' experiences.

I'm 45, and I'm looking to drop roughly 85 lbs. So far I've stuck with my usual method, Keto, but I'm noticing harsher side effects and a slower rate than what I got during earlier keto runs that worked well.

The Retartutide posts I've come across have really caught my attention, along with the recovery peptide discussions, since I work as a Sheet Metal Worker and live with ongoing injuries and pain.

Peptides are completely new to me, but I'm intrigued. Keep sharing the info and stories, this is such a cool service you all offer.

Adding a follow-up to my own thread so it's on record. My starting point: 293 lbs, a left ankle that keeps getting sprained, ongoing joint and muscle pain, fatigue, brain fog, no motivation, and no sex drive at all.

Right now I figure that if I take the weight off first, the rest of these issues will likely get better on their own, the way they usually do.

I'm eager to dig deeper into the peptides I've come across that may assist with recovery from things like sprains.

It can feel like a lot to take in at the start, but Reta has the potential to really change your life if you put in the work researching and locate a trustworthy vendor. The key is picking a vendor whose COAs are solid, and, if possible, having it tested—because of the scammers out there manipulating results for profit at Finnrisk—or else joining a testing group that ships samples to Jano or some other respected tester. I've also gone the Keto route, and I can't see myself ever returning to that style of dieting. With Reta, I keep my carbs fairly high and that works better for me since I'm at the gym 6 days/week. I've noticed a handful of folks mentioning carb cycling as a way to drop fat more quickly, though I haven't given it a try myself.

I’m in a similar boat to you. Keto worked reasonably well for me until I stopped and put it all back on. Just so you know, I've read that keto may not be the ideal approach while on Reta, since the glucagon side of Reta needs carbs. Looking forward to following your progress. Good luck!

@Retabole, I appreciate you getting back to me; What's funny is that I've come across the claim that needing carbs while on Reta is actually a myth! I really wish I could recall or get back to the link for that podcast where I heard it, but I was behind the wheel and now I'm unable to locate it so I could share it with you. Maybe looking up Reta + Keto could turn up something useful for you!

I'm going to give it a shot.

@soapysnake, I appreciate you getting back to me. My hope is that Reta can be a turning point for me too. As I spend time in these forums and join in, I’m aiming to track down a reliable supplier somewhere along the way. Thanks, and I wish you all the best.

Absolutely! My first order just went through — a 20mg kit. I'll keep you posted on my results! And I'll be sure to look into keto alongside Reta
