Hello beautiful people. 24 years old, from NYC.

Retatrutide and I go back 1.5 years. 240 lbs went down to 173 lbs successfully, though a rebound to 187 lbs showed up recently once the medication got stopped for a month. That break was needed because of a potential endotoxin poisoning and a systemic infection, which led to dysautonomia developing — a positive diagnosis for POTS among the results, plus symptoms of delayed orthostatic hypotension still awaiting evaluation.

A Tilt Table Test is what I'm waiting on, and possibly medications too, to help manage my orthostatic intolerant symptoms. Hopefully they aren't permanent, but 3 weeks have passed since every peptide was discontinued and they've persisted... Stabilizing my current state of health comes first, before any GLP-1 gets started again. More than likely Tirzepatide will be the one, supervised by my endocrinologist and cardiologists so my BP doesnt bottom out.

Back when 240lbs was my weight, high BP medication was part of my day, which was Losartan 50mg with HCTZ 12.5 twice a day. Reta works as a mild to moderate diuretic, very comparable to HCTZ, so plenty of Electrolyte Water had to be drunk, with adequate potassium and sodium on board to keep vitals decent.
