Hi everyone, glad I came across this community. I live in the US and got tirz from my doctor through a compounding pharmacy, but I've been off it for some time now. I've started strength training again and want to find out about reta. I'm also really keen to hear how people compare reta and tirz while training. I'll look around and try to pick up as much as I can. Thanks to everyone who has been sharing!

Glad you're here on the forum!

I can't help with the RetavsTirz comparison right now. But… I did want to congratulate you on returning to the gym!

Tirz has been part of my routine for 5 weeks, and I've lost 25 pounds. I'm hitting the gym again too. Honestly, I feel fantastic.

Best of luck!

Welcome to the party!

For me, it's mindblowing to weigh what the gray market risks against what a compounding pharmacy charges. Exponentially more expensive! The risks, though, are real so caveat emptor.

Pretty sure i will be joining a few others on here in building up an inventory of GLPs moving forward. At first, some of the hoarding comments i read struck me as a bit funny, but the deeper i travel down this rabbit-hole, the more enticing it looks.

In the upcoming months i'll be training hard on reta (only started it a day ago), but i'm after more dry gains, unlike the other group on here who are just working to cut weight.

I'm learning that macros are going to be ultra important in this application. Keeping muscle, or even adding it, is a very delicate balance. If you are planning to go that direction too, i fully intend (and recommend) extensive research.

I stand 6'0 and weigh 245lbs, and by my own judgment my strength level sits around high-intermediate. Over the past few months I've been going at the gym aggressively, pushing heavy weight to failure, and I've added muscle mass. The problem is my appetite has gone through the roof, so there's no question I'm carrying a good amount of fat that needs cutting. My main goal is holding onto as much strength as I can, which is exactly why reta has my attention. To get myself restarted while I keep learning and digging into research, I have some tirz on the way (from a compounding pharmacy that is very expensive).

Back when tirz was part of my routine, I made it down to roughly 195, but that result didn't satisfy me since I shed so much muscle and was doing zero strength training (honestly, no exercise at all). This time, though, I'm on a solid lifting schedule and I'm also using creatine, so my confidence is far higher. On top of that, I've spoken with friends who use reta and they've managed to keep much of their strength while on it. So I'll watch how the tirz goes alongside consistent gym work and decide my next step from there. Best of luck to you too! There's certainly a ton to learn, and a huge amount of information available here.

3 years back I ran compounded Sema and it worked well for me. After that I moved to tirz peptides. I believe one of the sources was junk. Tirz still gave me results.

Roughly 1.5 years afterward, I gave my wife's leftover compounded sema a shot and it did nothing for me. Currently I'm 4 weeks in on Reta at 1mg per week, and it appears to be doing something. The takeaway: results vary. With my first sema run I had zero appetite and serious heartburn.

What's the comparison between reta and tirz?

While on tirz, I dealt with fairly intense heartburn at one point — bad enough that I went for a laryngoscope, though the ENT found nothing wrong. It really did make my throat sore, regardless.
