Belly fat has become tough for me to manage, and my most recent labs unexpectedly turned out to be not all that great. So now I'm setting out to improve myself and regain muscle that has disappeared over the years. I'm eager to take in whatever knowledge I can, and perhaps someday I'll be able to assist another person using solid evidence.

Welcome aboard. If you bring commitment and determination, you're already set up well. Everything you might need to know is available right here, so it comes down to assembling it and sticking with the plan.

Wishing you the best!

Injuries plus getting older make this path tougher every time.

Started Triz - TB - BPC... The IT strain cleared up in weeks rather than months, and I dropped 18KG in less than 6 months. Sure, some muscle went, but I'm running better than ever, setting new distance and pace records.

Mixing cardio with heavy lifting, I really enjoy what people say once the shirt is off!!

Have fun with your own journey.

Welcome aboard! Coming in with that kind of outlook is a real asset.

Plenty of folks reach a moment when their lab results or that last bit of belly fat that won't budge serves as the signal to get serious, firm things up, and start rebuilding muscle that fades bit by bit as the years pass. The encouraging part is that body composition can still shift quite a lot, even after those kinds of setbacks, when training, nutrition, and the metabolic details are all brought into line.

This community is a solid spot to pick up lessons from what others have been through, swap observations, and find out what genuinely works for people outside of theory. And you've got it exactly right — after you've been through it yourself, passing along what helped (and what didn't) winds up being a big help to whoever comes next.

Happy to have you here, and I'm eager to see what you pick up along the way. 💪

I'm in a similar situation. Approaching 40, and I seriously wish I had treated my body better in the past.

That said, thankfully this is a genuine opportunity for that shift! I'm eager to pick up more knowledge during my time here.
