Hello from Oregon,

My triz use began 2 weeks back.

That said, the real starting point was more than 2 years ago, when I received a T2D diagnosis alongside an A1C reading of 13.5. My belief is that prescription Prednisone, taken for an upper respiratory infection, brought this on.

Through my own efforts, using diet plus exercise — daily running and improved eating — I managed to reverse it, bringing my A1C down to 5.6 within 3 months.

Metformin gave me trouble (cramping), so I went looking for something that worked better for me. The brand-name glp1 was out of reach financially, and it was only fairly recently that I came across compounding pharmacy options.

Insulin resistance is still present for me, and I plan to try rebuilding my mitochondrial health.

I’ve taken 3 injections so far, and over a span of 3 weeks the scale has gone down by 7 pounds — so far, I figure that’s a decent result.

What I’m unsure about is this: at what point does the pace become too quick?

And how can I make this last long-term without draining my energy or giving up strength down the road? That’s what I came here to figure out. I’ve come across information about stacking tesamorlin as a way to hold onto muscle mass during weight loss, but the possible impact on my A1C worries me. As of 2 weeks ago, that number was 5.8 — only just inside the pre-diabetic range. My insulin came back high (19.9), so some insulin resistance is present.
