Hi all,
40's, male, UK.
I've been lurking a good while. Been on Mounjaro twice, Wegovy once and lost about 5 stone. Journey is far from done but the end is now a lot closer than it ever has been and I can't wait for reach it.
I've always struggled with weight, I was always the chubby kid and I'm very much an emotional eater, I'm making a conscious effort to not rely on GLPs as the cure for the disorderd eating, more so to afford my brain the peace it requires to unlearn about 3 decades of poor habits.
I hope to get married to my partner before long and want to be around to grow old with her, and selfishly I want wedding pictures I can look back on and feel proud of.
As I mentioned I've been around here a while in the shadows and the wealth of information I've learned is phenomenal. There are so many usual things I've learned about, I hope that once I've paid my dues I can help others as well.
In the meantime I'll keep soaking up the knowledge and doing my own research and get the foundations in place.
