Hey everyone I think I might be the only one with this crazy sugar cravings at night. I am so annoyed with it. I am taking 40mg of Addi for ADD daily and that helps curb my appetite during the day but I have a few things going against me I am almost 60 post menopausal and I have insomina too. O and I have been dealing with Urticaria (Chronic Hives) for almost 5 months. I think these high doses of Anti-histamines might be countering my progress. Not a single pound lost on Reta thus far. The titration is every 4 days .25, .25, .50, .50,1.00 and a pen is being used for injection. Dealing with a headache daily. I really hope this works.

The goal is to get rid of the fatty liver. Two weeks no luck. How is everyone else doing?

Hey there! I deal with a tonne of food noise as well. I found that tirzepatide worked MUCH better for quieting the noise vs. Reta. Have you tried any other GLP-1s besides reta so far?

Yes, I did Ozempic for a year and then did Triz for about 6 months. I will try Triz again if this doesn't give me the results.

2nd this,

Switching to Trizepatide is a much much better choice here.

you were bamboozled into using Reta, adderall suppresses appetite while H1 Anti-histmaine increase it slightly (mostly carb craving and makes you slightly tired)

the Poor sleep/insomnia is the BIG thing here going against your goals, Gob bless.

If i was in your place, I would talk with ym doctor focusing on treating my insomnia primarily above all, rest can follow but without sleep adherence becomes a BIG issue.

I too have found I’ve had sugar cravings at night. Not sure if it’s just decision fatigue and my bodies way of grabbing carbs. I’m at 1mg/week and may up it a bit. If that doesn’t work I’ll switch to tirz and give that a try. I feel like the “food noise” effect hasn’t been that strong personally

Different people have different levels of response to Reta, starting doses typically range from 0.5mg once a week, to 2mg once a week. It takes 4 weeks on any dose level to reach its maximum effectiveness, as it has a half life of approximately a week.

After 4 weeks at a maximum of 2mg once a week, you can increase your dosage if you feel you need too, i am currently using 10mg per week split into 2 doses, my research suggests not splitting low doses though.

If in time if you are still getting too much food noise, i have had great success stacking Reta with Cagrilintide.

Second this. These things take time and every body is different. 5mg ozempic worked for me, but made me sick. I recently was on 7.5mg compounded tirz and that did nothing for me. Now I’m on 4mg reta and I couldn’t care less about food.

Titrating up monthly is important for all glps. That’s the protocol for all of the clinical trials for these. Reta won’t resolve fatty liver in a couple of weeks. Most trial participants resolved fatty liver with reta after 48 weeks.

Don’t be discouraged though! Just give it some time.

I was having the same issue and Triz knocked it outta the park!!! Been on it about 6 weeks and am down 16lbs. I’ve learned the hard way though just got scammed out of $580 trying to reorder whatever you do, DO NOT order from Peptides-Care.com. I’m having the worst time rn😭

I don’t have experience with Reta personally, but I do with tirz. I have 0 food noises with tirz, dosing every 5 days. I’ve lost about all the weight I need to a little over 2 months

I’ve been taking tirz and I’ve noticed like 2-3 days post injection my food noise pretty much comes back to 80 percent normal. Appetite and station are still good, but constantly thinking about food lol. I’m switching to Reta and concerned about more food noise.

I have been on tirz for right at 2 months and about day 5 the food noise returns.

Welcome! Make sure you are getting your electrolytes in!!! Addi and Reta will dehydrate you a lot in my experience. Lots of water and electrolytes will help!

I'm still titrating up on tirzepatide and at 13mg I'm finally starting to get a bit more reliable quieting of the food noise, but it's not a binary thing for me like some people have reported. I kind of wish that it was, I wish it was something where I could definitively say "Oh hell yeah, that's gone" but now it's almost a bit more weird, like I want to eat but don't feel like eating. Not sure if that makes any sense, it sure doesn't when I write it out, but that best describes the feeling.

That’s why I dose every 5 days, makes a world of difference

That's very interesting. What changes have you seen vs. 7 day dosing? Is it just the food noise or is there anything else?

Just the food noise was the biggest, I went to every 5 days just a couple weeks in so I don’t have much to compare. The half life if tirz is 5 days, so it only makes sense.

Very interesting. I'll have to keep that in mind when I start out. Thanks for letting me know.
