Hello everyone,

New face around here. My first Reta shot went in on Sept. 4, 2025. By month 5 on it, 60lbs had come off. Before and after photos are included with this post. Reta is amazing. My starting weight was 224lbs; it came down to 164lbs. Now it's only a maintenance protocol — 2mg weekly. Weight sits around 170-172lbs. Height is 5'8. Sharing a great experience with this new med felt worth doing. Several family members have got on Reta since, and their losses look similar. Blood work is good across the board now, with LDL cholesterol the one number still barely out. My guess is genes, plus relatives who've had diabetes, keep that LDL where it is. My PCP called me pre-diabetic and suggested I hop on Zepbound literally the same week a buddy of mine was telling me about Reta. That timing was pretty ironic. Tirz I never tried, only Reta — and I doubt I'd ever try another GLP. At least for now.

Hearing how it's gone for other people would be great.

P.S. nausea was my one side effect, and only through the opening three weeks — I figure that happened because I kept hitting Whataburger and fast food when my body was asking for better food while the new med settled in. Did anyone else run into this? Even at its worst it stayed mild and never once made me think about quitting Reta.
