Hey everyone, figured it was time to actually introduce myself rather than carrying on as a lurker.
Peptides pulled me in largely through weight loss and body composition, and from there I went fairly deep down the rabbit hole — testing, reading, and trying different compounds.
Two have stood out clearly for me: tirzepatide and retatrutide. I began on tirz, with very obvious appetite suppression and weight-loss effects. Later I moved over to reta, a different experience again, but it's clearly doing something too. Those are the two where I hold zero doubt the effects are real.
A few others I've tried with far less certainty. Semax and Selank for focus/anxiety — honestly, I can't say I noticed much. Same story with MOTS-C: an interesting compound, yet I couldn't confidently point to an effect and say it came from that.
I've also played with BPC-157 around training and shoulder issues, and I've put a lot of time into reading about the other peptides discussed here. What this whole process has made me increasingly interested in is independent testing. I've taken part in group testing and now pay far more attention to what's actually in a vial versus what the label or the vendor claims is in it.
Sceptical is my default. If something works, I'll say it works. If I paid for something and couldn't tell whether it did anything, I'll say that too. Mostly I'm here to learn, compare experiences, share testing/data when it's useful, and hopefully give something back to the community.
