Being here is a good feeling. Reddit is where I began, same as plenty of others, but answers were hard to come by. The folks on this board come across as far friendlier and more helpful!
To start at the beginning: I was widowed at 69, and in the years that followed I decided getting healthier for my own sake was what I wanted. Life being what it is, I was lucky enough to meet another widower 15 years my junior, which gives me even more reason to shed the weight. After some research the compounded Tirzepitide route looked like my best bet - though those prices! 4 months in, 22 lbs are gone and I feel much better, but another 35-40 lbs would be welcome. 5 mg has been my dose and it's still doing its job. Finding others to keep me encouraged on this journey is the hope! Reading so many informative and helpful posts on here has left me hopeful!
