45-year-old woman here! As I get older, I'm adjusting a few things in my routine. My goal is to steer clear of hormone replacement therapy by using peptides instead. Right now I'm dealing with a lot of inflammation, a frozen shoulder, and a bunch of other changes tied to hormones. I'm really hoping peptides will be the solution, and I'd love some solid advice. I've used semaglutide for 1.5 years and have been able to keep my weight under control. (I work out 4 days a week, including two days of weight training.) I'm thinking about making the switch to Tirz and I'm curious how that transition might go given how long I've been on a glp 1. Thanks for having this space!

Glad you found us, and welcome! I made the switch from semaglutide over to trizepatide 2 weeks back, and I'm wondering about that too. Best of luck as you move forward!

After making the switch, what dose of Tirz did you begin with? Also, is there a waiting period for tirz to accumulate in your body before you notice any benefits? While that's happening, does your hunger return aggressively?

I began with Tirz and barely had any side effect. My run went 2.5 for a month, then up to 5. Compared with reta I even like it more.

About a year back, I made the move from 2.4mg semaglutide to tirzepatide. I jumped right into 10mg of tirzepatide and it went smoothly. There was no gap in appetite control and the transition was very easy. Tirzepatide has been great for me because the side effects were less bothersome.
