Hi everyone, I've been using glp1s for quite a while and I came over after the STG TG got banned.

Loqa hasn't improved, so I ended up here. Fingers crossed this place sticks around longer.
 
STG vanishing really annoyed me. Still, it pushed me to look elsewhere, and that's how I ended up here! Here's hoping GLP1 remains solid for a long while.

Loqa is a different app/forum platform. After the last time STG got nuked, that's where they began rebuilding. They say it can't be nuked...we'll see. Not gonna lie, it remains pretty glitchy, though at least the community connection is still there.

It was taken down once more. I can't say for certain that this is the reason, but I'm aware of people who, after being banned, go and report the forum — which is a really rotten thing to do. That's someone settling a personal score while everyone else pays the price. These are odd days across all the TG/Discord forums.
 
I noticed that Monday was when they got nuked. It really is unfortunate that they are no longer around. With any luck, they will come back.
 
On a desktop, Loqa has been pretty much trouble-free for me. The one gap I notice is that there aren’t any mobile apps for iOS or Android. From what I’ve heard, those are being worked on.

Honestly, nobody holding any authority in the community does. STG has its flaws, but after spending some time there, I've come to recognize what they offer in terms of protecting newcomers. I do value that goal, even if I'm not a fan of how, whenever someone asks something respectfully or neutrally that might come across as questioning the established way of doing things, it turns into a pile-on. It feels a bit like a cult. A lot of them rely on a bot that lets them report users when they dislike being challenged. That person then ends up graylisted or blacklisted across aaaallll the servers involved. Without any warning.
 
Before STG, I'd already come across this community, and it clearly feels more established. It works better as a discussion forum instead of group chats where things get lost in translation.
