Hey everyone!

So glad this place exists! Terz is only a week in for me and I already love what I'm seeing!

Rewind roughly 10 years and my only complaint about my weight was the opposite problem — getting enough on took real effort, and otherwise folks suspected an ED. Then came a 2nd trimester miscarriage while I was in my late 30s, and perimenopause arrived right on its heels. From that point on, moving my body and watching what I ate stopped being a choice. Those first 5 years I figured it would just come off the way it always had. Keto followed, those stubborn 20 lbs vanished, and I decided the problem was solved.

Wrong. Across those following years I got that 20lbs back plus an extra 30 for good measure. The reflection I see now is someone I don't recognize, and I hate it!! I officially crossed into “obese” bmi 2 lbs ago, and while the scale has at least stopped climbing, I'm not fond of this new set weight at all! My last physical was 6 lbs ago — my Doctor wouldnt prescribe a glp-1 because I was 4 lbs away from his required bmi. The annual one is a month out, but unfortunately, between then and now, my insurance stopped covering it!

here. Thanks for having me!
