Hello everyone,

In under a year, I dropped 55 kg by eating in a calorie deficit and changing my diet to prioritize protein (at least 100 g).

Starting weight: 120 kg, 264lbs

Goal weight: 65 kg, 132lbs

Height: 169 cm, 5ft7in

Age: 63

Female

It didn’t feel especially hard to me, and for the last two years I’ve kept the weight off. I work out frequently and my eating routine has stayed steady.

Lately, though, a very strong urge to eat has come back. I never feel genuinely full and could eat endlessly. Even with more calories, I’m never fully satisfied.

Now I’m hoping to get advice from this forum about what to do next. At some point, I’d ideally like to try the Reta injection to find out what real satiety without constant cravings is like.

I’ve been through this kind of weight loss five times in my life and each time regained it all, because eventually the endless strain of tracking calories and not being able to trust my fullness signals became too much.

Thank you for reading.

Not certain whether this belongs in the intro thread’s Q&A section, but by simply using the forum’s search bar I came across plenty of threads that already address your questions. My strong suggestion is to go through several of them rather than trusting whoever happens to reply first with a simple yes or no. Wishing you the best in finding what you need here 😁

Hey, those are awesome results from all your effort!!! Food noise really is awful. I've been using Tirz for roughly 15, nearly 16 months at this point, and the change has been HUGE. I began by splitting a microdose of around 1mg, and roughly two weeks later the quiet was overwhelming—plus my ADHD scrip became even more effective!

look up " food noise " while on reta ( from my own experience ) - the coin flips, and now you're pushing calories in rather than battling the numbers out of fear of putting weight back on. Food urges and that noise seem to get muted. Honestly it's wild, and I can picture someone hitting their target weight and then microdosing to blunt the binge-eating or over-eating urges.

If you can drop all of that through diet changes and exercise, you're an ideal candidate for getting the most out of reta. You'll probably find yourself working to keep calories up so you don't lose muscle along with the weight !!! Dive on in. This site is fantastic and supportive 100000%. We are not reddit !

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. That's exactly the kind of answer I was hoping to get. It sounds like something that might suit me.
