Hey all,
So reta treated me very well last year, right up until a stroke in february forced an abrupt stop. The first 30 pounds went in 2 and a half months. After the injury, the long hospital stay and a slow recovery, all of it came back and then some. Doctor's approval to start a glp-1 again finally came through, and getting back on this journey is genuinely exciting. Being on reta was great, but the injury has my heart rate management out of whack, so the BPM increase rules that out for now. Tirz is what the doctor gave me, so I'm giving that a go. Week 4 just arrived, and 5mg is next week's bump. Should be fun!
If a stroke is something you've been through, let me know. Starting over after roughly 3 months of being mostly unable to workout is rough. Things are just getting back into a flow and the recovery is going well. Now the gains lost while off my beloved pep get to be rebuilt. Come follow along on the journey. Meeting other survivors would mean a lot to me, but I don't spot many of us on here.
