Hi everyone,

I'm in recovery from Cushing's disease, which means my body makes too much cortisol. Last year I had brain surgery to remove a pituitary tumor. Excess cortisol causes a lot of weight gain, and after the operation I've lost a fair amount, but my progress on Mounjaro has sort of plateaued. At first I was on it for diabetes. Before surgery my fasting was 400 and I was injecting close to 100 units of insulin daily. GLPs didn't do anything for me back then. Once the surgery was behind me, though, they started to work. I've stopped insulin entirely and don't really have diabetes anymore. My weight has also come down from 183 to 137, but the remaining pounds are stubborn. Around 125 is probably where I should be, so that's why I'm here. I figure the glucagon component could be useful for my case. Looking forward to chatting with you all.
