Hello, I'm a middle aged guy with a family, and I've put in a long, hard career while attempting to keep everything in balance. What draws me to peptides is the goal of more balance, not more grind. I do have a reasonably good exercise routine, but between work and family I regularly lose sleep, and the stress keeps my cortisol elevated. My hope is to use peptides, together with healthier boundaries, to recover and discover a balance in my life that I can maintain.

Sounds like we're rowing the same direction. I'm 54, have 2 kids in college, and put in roughly 14 hours daily across 5 days — which leaves Sat & Sun for training. Honestly, even squeezing in just those 2 sessions makes a real difference. Call me worn down, but I'm still standing! Lol

That's quite intriguing. The mitochondria and healing protocols I've come across here and there do hold some appeal for me to explore further. I'm with you that they should support keeping the system in good shape and allow for a more balanced life. Wishing you the very best! 🙂

That is exactly the path that led me here. Carving out time for myself and sticking with hard workouts on a regular basis has wound the clock back a bit. Bit by bit, my inflammation has come down thanks to training, rest and supplements, yet a single demanding project or a major political shift at work is enough to drop me right back into a bad place. Clean eating plus exercise left me leaner and feeling improved, but ongoing stress is a cortisol engine, and I have run into a wall.

Nobody brings up how big a role stress plays in genuine health, and the people who look fittest at the gym appear to carry the least stress.

That's what draws me in as well! I'm hoping a bit of support can give me a push and help me clear this hurdle.
