Hey everyone! I'm a woman in my 50s and a breast cancer survivor. I used to stay fairly fit, but the pounds crept on over time and with menopause and all that, the number on the scale just wouldn't move regardless of what I tried. Eventually I went on compounded Sema and dropped a solid 20 lbs. After roughly a year I moved to a US based grey, but now I'm considering Tirz (I'd like to deal with another 10-15 lbs), and also looking into adding other peps for gut problems, shoulder and hip discomfort, aging and so on… I've come to see just how much pricier the US based grey is, though testing and sorting everything out is definitely a bit intimidating. So here I am! Eager to learn and start this next chapter!

My suggestion is Reta rather than Tirz. Reta assists with metabolizing (eliminating) fat, whereas with Tirz, weight loss largely results from eating fewer calories.

I lean on AI pretty heavily for my own research too - here's what it came back with for people who are post-cancer-treatment:

“When someone is post-treatment and dealing with tiredness, inflammation and recovery, the options that come up most often as sensible are:

• Thymosin Alpha-1 (immune restoration)

• BPC-157 + TB-500 (tissue healing)

• SS-31 (energy and mitochondrial support)

Set against growth hormone peptides, these tend to be seen as the lower-risk supportive choices.”

She survived cancer, and reta is what you're suggesting for her? Anyone who currently has cancer, or has undergone treatment for it at any point before, should not be given a peptide recommendation. Both are things I've taken. Still, nobody should be told what to take. What works best differs from one individual to the next. A doctor needs to be overseeing whatever she chooses to do.

With the recent developments around GLP-1s and a possible connection to lower breast cancer rates, watching where the research goes should be fascinating. BOC-157 and TB-500 are both on my list to try for sure.

I had been leaning towards Tirz since I've got roughly 10-15 lbs still to shed, plus the potential anti-cancer benefits ☺️ but I'll take another look at the Reta info!

Primeiramente, quero te dar os parabéns pela vitória sobre o câncer. Em segundo lugar, meu conselho é que você seja bastante cuidadoso ao usar peptídeos, levando em conta o seu histórico.
