Weight has been a battle for me since my teenage years; I'm 36f. When arthritis came into the picture and the pain kept getting worse, it hit me that I have to put in the work—not just for the older version of me, but for who I am right now and for my kids. There's a long list of things I've wanted to do, yet my weight has held me back out of fear. Kayaking, hiking, getting on rides, going down slides—all without worrying whether I'll fit. Wegovy was prescribed to me 2 years back, and with insurance covering it, I dropped 30 lbs. I stopped once I felt good, and of course it all came back. Bruh. I ended up near my HW again, saw the doctor, and got a zepbound prescription, but the new insurance won't pay for it. I covered 1 month out of pocket, lost 10 lbs, and my energy was through the roof. Summer break is almost here and self-paying won't be possible. I got some tir peptides and will begin that later this week. For the past 2 weeks I've been digging into everything, which is how I ended up here. After learning about peptides, I've come across others that might help me too—I'd really like healthier hair, nails, and skin
. Hopefully emojis are okay, I didn't spot anything about them in the rules. So that's where I'm at: US IL 36f hw 315, sw 295, cw 283, 2.5 tir. Lets do this! There's nature out there for me to explore without hip pain!
