Hi everyone! Finding this community has me really glad. Around a year back, my primary care doctor wrote me a prescription for tirzepatide. The first 2 months came from a compounding pharmacy nearby. I was looking for cheaper ways to get it, and that's when I came across a few online telehealth options via Reddit. So far I've dropped roughly 110 lbs, which feels great. Lately I've been looking into reta, since I've come across a number of posts describing what it's done for others, particularly for shedding those final few pounds. I've started strength training to improve body composition, and naturally it's already paying off. Anyway, that's how I ended up here. Looking forward to picking up more from all of you.

Welcome aboard. Once I'd dropped roughly 50lbs while on Tirzepatide, I switched over to Reta too. Funny enough, my weight went up on Reta — around 15lbs — and that's where it has stayed.

Tirz cost me a good amount of muscle, but during the Reta phase I managed to rebuild most of the strength and size, all while keeping my midsection lean. Call it a body recomp, and I'm pleased with it. Ultimately your own goal decides whether that's a win.

My numbers: 217lbs down to 168lbs, and currently sitting at 184lbs.

Lifting weights can make a big difference! Be sure you're meeting your protein targets. Staying consistent matters most. Best of luck as you continue your glp1 journey!

That's a cool perspective—thanks for posting it. I'm working on shifting my attention away from the number on the scale and toward feeling healthy and building strength.

Getting enough protein is something I aim for, though there are definitely times when it's tough!

For anyone chasing those final pounds, adding something alongside Reta could be worth exploring. Mots-C or Tesa might be options that provide some assistance.

I agree — Tesa delivered excellent results for recomp.

That's interesting—what results did you get from adding it compared to using Reta by itself?

Do you know any solid places to study up? It's tough to track down trustworthy details on certain single peptides.

My sleep has improved a lot, and it seems like my breathing is better too. My lifts have gone up a bit, but the bigger change is endurance — I can keep going longer. My muscles feel firmer, and overall it feels like I bounce back from training more quickly.

Welcome!

Tirzepatid helped me drop roughly 60 kg (I started out at nearly 170 kg), and a few weeks back I began RETA. Right now I'm tapering TIRZE down by 0.5 mg each week (from 6 mg) while increasing RETA by 0,5 mg.

For the long haul, lifting weights and keeping Proteins high is a must.

Around 4 to 5 weeks from now I'll drop TIRZE entirely and "run" on just 4 mg RETA 😀

10 kg left to lose!

Solid effort, dude — I only came across these myself since I was after wholesale rather than retail, haha

For my part, it's been more than 12 months on Reta. I mostly kept going for the additional therapeutic upsides, but over the past month or so the food noise has genuinely started returning, so I threw in a modest dose of Cagrilitide alongside it and now I'm feeling properly satisfied again.

Wishing you the best on your path, mate.

Appreciate you getting back to me, and it's nice to learn a bit about how things have gone for you! I've come across positive feedback regarding combining cagri for helping with appetite control.

That's worth noting. The insomnia reports I keep seeing are basically what's stopped me from committing to Reta. Since I already deal with it and it's miserable, a compound that could aggravate that isn't something I'm eager to try.

When it comes to sleep, DSIP gives me a deep sleep and really improved how well I rest, so I didn't need to spend as many hours asleep, yet I still got up feeling prepared to start the day

Alright, this is completely new to me. How does someone even come across such obscure stuff?

A couple of buddies gave it a shot and brought it up, after that I began looking into it myself across various forums, eventually put it into my stack, and it worked as intended haha

Would you mind sharing your dose and when you take it? I'm looking into DSIP for my own research. And is your route subq or intranasal, plus does it seem to help you fall asleep?

My dose is 200mcg, injected subcutaneously roughly 30min ahead of lights out. As for falling asleep, there might be a slight effect, though it's nothing dramatic. What I do notice is very deep sleep, along with some seriously vivid dreams, yet I wake up feeling excellent
