Patrick here. I just turned 60, and my job is new home sales in the SFBay - East Bay.

THE STATS:

Weight when I began: 210 lbs

Where I want to land: 145-150 lbs, or 10% body fat mass

Weight right now: ~165 lbs

I am single, and hoping to find friends here who care about health and fitness the way I do, plus good conversation!

My weight loss effort began because my belly was in the way every time I closed the car door. Tirz was where I started, and between Aug '25 and the end of '25 I dropped 35lbs. These days my main push is toward the final target of 145 lbs — specifically chipping away at the last stubborn visceral fat pockets without losing muscle mass. Right now I am "researching" Reta.

Alongside the reta there is a daily routine I follow, loosely but consistently. It includes a cheap, high-yield protein diet — plenty of standard/clear whey isolate, hard-boiled eggs and, my weakness, Chocolate Chip Pure Protein bars — to reach my 120g daily target. Most evenings I do heavy resistance training for my shoulders and core, then go straight into 45 minutes of strict Zone 2 cardio with my heart rate held right around 96 to 112 bpm.

What brought me to the forum is simply soaking up the knowledge collected here. I want to read how other people square heavy lifting with cardio, find out how they handle their nutrition, and learn which "stacks" folks my age are running and the reasoning behind them. Once I have my forum legs under me, I hope to share some of my own experience too.

Thank you for making this such a welcoming place. I am looking forward to talking with all of you!

With my knees acting up, I am hoping somebody here can add to what I know about PGDH inhibitors — MF-300 and the like.

Keen to get in on any trials or testing.
