Hiii! Being here has me really excited. My very first dose of tirz (grey) just went in, and I'm feeling super emotional about kicking off this journey. Looks like I'll be the guinea pig for my family lol. My plan is to document my progress here and maybe make some new friends along the way.

I'm 5'1", 255 lbs, and 26 years old. At 18, I had a gastric sleeve done in Mexico (lol 💔💔). I made it down to 130, but that was mostly because I was going through some unhealthy stuff at the time, not really because of the sleeve. In the end, I gained it all back. I reached 300 lbs, but since then I've dropped 45 on my own through the gym and focusing on strength training.

Weight loss has put me through a lot of rough experiences, so my hope is that this works for me in a healthier way. Getting my protein in is something I'm already pretty consistent about, and I've learned a lot about lifting . Some muscle has been built, so my hope is that this helps balance out the muscle loss people talk about with tirz.

leave a comment if youre also on tirz!!!or like lol!!

Another sleeve patient checking in—5 years since surgery and still holding steady. These days I'm in perimenopause, possibly full menopause, and that has made staying at my weight tougher, so last year I brought Tirz into the mix to quiet the food chatter that had started returning and to help me stay on course. Glad to have you aboard, but please begin at a low dose and increase slowly, step by step! Also, remember the advice from your post-op days—Protein is god, water water water and move that body!

That is genuinely incredible and requires serious commitment. You didn't just drop the weight, you've kept it off for years, which is wild!!! Most people have no idea how tough that is, even after having the surgery. It demands a ton of self-control and a lot of mental effort. For me it's been really rough </3 I truly appreciate you commenting and opening up about your tirz, and I hope everything goes well with reaching your goal weight!!! Given how determined you come across, you'll definitely make it there!! And thank you, I'll do my best to get my diet sorted out

Appreciate it! The real fight is what you eat — that's 90% of it!

For a good number of years I stayed right at my goal, then I had shoulder surgery a couple months back. That knocked me out of everything I normally do, yet I kept eating the same, so the pounds started sneaking back on! Now that my workouts are getting closer to my old level, I'm hoping to bring it back down!

We've got this!
