Hey everyone, a rabbithole through glps and peps is what led me to this forum. sema began for me in Jan of this year and about 35 lbs has come off. Getting here has been a wild ride. Since Covid hit I've dealt with so many health issues and put on so much weight. Getting any of it off felt hopeless because of the pain and health issues. What ozempic actually was never got much thought from me beyond lowering blood sugar and weightloss... The anti inflammatory properties were what I didn't expect, and they've taken away easily like 70% of the joint and back pain, the pcos pain, and even my period pain is cut so dramatically (and I have endometriosis) with fewer days and less bleeding too. It feels like I've been handed the chance to live again. Working out is back, supplements are back, ingredients only foods are back.. and with my impulses far quieter than before. Easy is what people assume this is — easy it has not been. Titrating upward left me sick as a dog a few times. Fatty or sugary food and I'm projectile vomiting. So that stopped happening lol. This past week I bottomed out and the dose stopped registering, which I'm fairly sure comes down to titrating up slower than the suggested pace. Shot night is tonight and up I go. Wish me luck lol. Anyways, absorbing all of this knowledge is why I'm here. Lurking happened for a few weeks before signing up, and the things I'll learn here plus the connections with people who understand me are what I'm looking forward to 🤞
