Hey everyone, figured I'd do the introduction before exploring everything this forum has going on.

34-year-old guy in the US, 243lbs, lifting weights 3-5hrs each week.

My journey (the latest attempt after waaaay too many setbacks) kicked off in January 2024 with Gastric Bypass at 364lbs, dropped 120lbs across 12-16mo, put 20 back on. December 2025 rolled around and it was time to dive into the Grey of anything that might help, and since then I've shed the 20 I regained while adding a noticeable amount of muscle.

What I'm running now:

Test E - 250mg 2x/wk

Reta - 4mg 2x/wk

Tesamorelin - 1mg/day (Moving to CJC-1295 once this vial is done, my sleep and recovery crashed on this)

Back in 2017 I went through a duodenal switch. The extra weight came off completely, and I've largely managed to keep it from returning. These days I'm on Tirz, which makes dealing with those slowly returning pounds pretty simple. I'm back in maintenance mode once more.

Wishing you the best with everything!

Hey, welcome.

I'm a 55-year-old guy, and at one point I was sitting near 240 myself. Tirz was my starting point at 225 roughly 4 months back; for around 1 month I've been stacking Reta, and Tesa has been in the mix for a few weeks. So the trial-and-error stretch you're in? I get it.

Getting from 364 down, then facing regain, then building strength back up, and working out what your body actually responds to—you've already come through an enormous amount of change. That demands more resilience than most people give credit for.

Seems like you're tracking closely how all of it lands on your sleep and recovery, and that matters enormously if you want to hold the line over the long haul.

Glad you're here. There's plenty this community can offer, and the effort you're putting in is obvious.

I'm wondering what people who've already gone through gastric bypass think about the glp's. When it comes to appetite and that sort of thing, is the experience similar or not? Given how the surgery altered your gi system, do you have to take extra precautions compared to other users because of possible added complications? etc.
