Hey everyone! Glad to be part of this!

I'd say my fitness level is fairly solid. Actually, I've got a 50k coming up this weekend, and I've been hitting the weights 5-6 days per week for roughly 15 years. For the last 3.5 years, I've gone outside and run at least 1 mile every single day. My goal is to stretch that streak out as far as possible. Being able to claim a 40 year running streak someday would be pretty awesome, I think. All told, I've completed around 15 marathons and 3 ultras. That's two 50ks and one 100K. I'm thinking about signing up for a 100 mile race this fall, but we'll see.

At some point, I'd also love to compete in a bodybuilding show, though I really enjoy eating. I realize that packing on size in the gym and covering long distances don't exactly go hand in hand, but since it's what I love, that's what I've been doing, and up to now it appears to be working for me.

Excited to share this journey with all of you!

We... are at totally different stages haha. Nice work on those routines you've built over the years; the results speak for themselves. I'm 37 and attempting to steer things toward something along the lines of what you've got going, though it won't happen overnight. My plan is to move up from a daily walk to a daily run at some point later this year, once I've dropped more weight, so my joints don't suffer. Wishing you all the best!

Appreciate it! You’ll make it there—just focus on one day at a time. I’m 39, and back when I was younger I was really into bodybuilding, but I never stayed consistent enough to get great results. I’d hit burnout, quit the gym completely, and drop clean eating too. Cementing this routine took me a long time, but at this point there are very few reasons I’d skip the gym, and even fewer that would make me miss my run for the day. Nice meeting you!
