INTRO Newer than a Newbie

Stumbled upon this group a few weeks back, but it took a bit of nerve before I actually joined.

Back in Feb I kicked off a journey, and I've been dissatisfied with how things have gone. That's why I began poking around, trying to figure out where I might be going wrong or what I could improve.... and just like magic (or really more like technology), this is the spot where everybody hangs out.

I realized I should sign up so I can ask questions when I started jotting things down in a little notepad (because, honestly, I know I'm reading, but I'm not always soaking up what I read) — stuff I need to look up whenever I get a chance. (Since at times I have zero clue what I'm reading here.) It's like peeking behind the curtain while the show is going on.
 
Hi , welcome, glad you arrived , enjoy the forum . Ask away if you like, helping is my thing , I dropped over 115lbs in 355 days . Aiming to hit my goal weight in 1 year and I am nearly there .

Glad you're here. You've come to the right spot if you want to pick things up. The amount of knowledge available is huge, and folks here actually put in the effort to explain things, which is really awesome!
 
Welcome aboard! Honestly, I'd guess quite a few of us have been in that same spot.

Once you begin exploring all of this, the learning curve is steep for sure. I often catch myself with a bunch of fresh tabs open, just because somebody used a term that was completely new to me. The bright side? Plenty of well-informed folks hang around here, and they're glad to field questions and assist with piecing things together.

Your notepad cracked me up, since that is precisely what I'd do too. Soon enough, you'll likely have pages stuffed with notes, ideas, and stuff worth trying. Please don't hold back on asking, even when a question feels basic. Odds are good that a handful of others are thinking about the very same thing.
