Hey everyone. I’m just getting started with peptides. I’ve been using Reta for roughly 6 weeks and Glow for roughly 4 weeks, and I’m nearly ready to begin Tesa. Most of what I’ve learned so far came from Reddit and TikTok, so finding this forum is a huge relief. I currently have a “lady” but I’d really like to manage all of my own supplies. I’m 40. Nearly 10 years ago I underwent bariatric surgery. That procedure helped me drop around 125 pounds. Then came another pregnancy, an autoimmune disease, and more recently perimenopause, and I put on about 40lbs. I managed to take off 12, but shifting the remaining 30lbs has been a serious struggle. That’s why I chose to dive in headfirst. It also helps that my husband, who is entering his mid forties, really needs to drop about 100lbs.

Over the past 6 weeks I’ve only dropped about 6 pounds, but I’ve seen a lot of recomposition and a smaller profile. I’m eager to see where this takes me.

Reddit is still in my rotation when I hit a wall on research, sure — but when the subject turns to peptides, a whole lot of Redditors seem to be running on peanut butter upstairs. And heaven help you if you stumble onto pep talk happening somewhere other than a dedicated peptide sub 🤣

Nobody is going to look after your health except you. If you don't have the deep pockets for a private practice, then Claude can beat roughly 75% of practitioners out there — provided you know how to steer it.

Hey! Welcome to the forum.

I too have had bariatric two years ago. I lost 100 pounds and have recently gained back 20. And I couldn’t get twenty off to save my life. It’s why I’m here.

I started tirz two weeks ago and I have lost 15 pounds. I’m also on tesa and have noticed my love handles shrinking and I might be seeing some abs forming. Crazy!

Ultimately, I’d love to be in onederland! So… I need to drop thirty total. That’s why I came here.

I also have a ln auto immune disease that flared after having Covid in 21. I have undifferentiated connective tissue disease. It’s one of the reasons I went with bariatric. I couldn’t lose anything. I was in constant flares and was taking hydroxychloroquine daily.

After losing the 100 my flares got much better and I came off of the hydroxychloroquine. I just had a flare last month and was chewing on prednisone. Yikes! But two flares in a year is much better than months and months of straight flares.

I hope you find everything you’re looking for here! And thanks for sharing your story!

Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis is something I deal with. At 17 I got the diagnosis, after my senior year brought roughly 80 pounds of weight gain. It often feels like a nonstop battle with my own body and the pounds that keep creeping on. Like you, I’m determined to reach onederland again. It’s great that you’re seeing progress so far! To be fully honest, about 1 year before I started Reta, I brought up tirz with my doctor. Her response was simply that insurance wouldn’t pay for it, and that was the end of the conversation. Eventually I decided to take control myself, and that’s how I ended up here.

Thanks for sharing your story!
