Hi everybody, I figured I'd drop by and say hello!

I'm a 44yr old woman, 5'3. My starting weight was 170 and after a month of Reta, Klow and eating well I'm down to 162. What I want is to soak up everything I can about using peptides in the best way, so I can bring my inflammation and stress down and get somewhat back to the person I used to be.

The last year and a half has been a real roller coaster, both mentally and physically. My son died in a motor vehicle accident on Jan 22,2025 and honestly I just let myself go. It's genuinely wild how much of a toll stress takes on your body. But I'm putting in the work on myself now!

Before all of that I was usually fairly active, apart from a back and neck injury that seldom held me back. These days the pain and inflammation are so bad, and there's a strong chance my body is still stuck in fight or flight mode! We're dealing with it though!

Right now my goal is to steer clear of back surgery, but the pain running down my legs is so unbearable that it looks like that's where things are headed. I've already noticed some improvement with the inflammation and the weight loss, which is what sent me down the rabbit hole to this place! I've got to learn about all of it now!

Thanks for having me, and I'm excited to be part of the community!!!

Glad you're here! Wow, you've been through it all. I underwent a spinal fusion 2 years back. It terrified me to go through with it, yet the damage was so extensive there was no other option. Now I'm happy I went ahead—no more pain. Stay brave and keep watchful as you move forward. I'm certain your son is looking down with a smile, seeing you fight the good fight!

Yeah, there's no doubt about that! After my 2 cervical disc replacements, things were good for a short stretch, but then a few months down the road the inflammation returned and the pain came with it. I realize a second back surgery is likely something I can't dodge forever, but my goal is to delay it as long as I can, and if it does end up happening, to at least stop the inflammation from coming back afterward.

Ah, got it — my mistake on the reading. What's your KLOW dosing schedule? Mine's sitting in the freezer because I couldn't figure out a protocol that would actually do something for my scars. I've got several cut scars on my torso, and after 3 months there was zero difference — really thought it'd help🙄

I'm truly sorry you have to bear that pain, both in your mind and your body, each day. My nephew was lost by my sister, and the way our family relates to one another has been altered permanently- I understand what you're saying {Hugs}. It's great that Reta helped you drop the weight. TZ is what I've just begun, though I'm a dedicated researcher and found this community almost right away. My hope is to take in everything I can, to learn, and to better my health overall as well. An injury happened to me too (the leg, not the back), and it really held me back. So far Tirz is treating me well, although I hardly ever feel hungry! I'd really like to go through this journey together with you! It's nice to "meet" you

The support in this community is what a real welcome looks like. You good folks sharing tips and personal stories with one another. We also have a good time around here. The sincere care members show for each other honestly amazes me. Keep the good vibes going !!!

Glad you found us

Reta ended up being what rescued me. Early into using it, a great deal of inflammation along with aches and pains cleared up, and it brought the other advantages too.

Because of that, I could finally get my diet and training properly sorted.

For the next few months I intend to stay on reta by itself, since I would rather not hop onto the peptide bandwagon prematurely.

Right now I’ve got my eye on several other peptides, and it’s easy to understand how this could become habit-forming

{hugs} returned to you, and thank you! About Reta, one thing I can share: my hunger hasn't gone away, yet I'm eating less and getting full more quickly. Honestly it caught me off guard — I figured I'd have to make myself eat. Glad my appetite is still there.

My routine is 2 mg, taken 5 days in a row with 2 days off, mostly because that shot is feisty! There is definitely a bit of a sting to it. At first I injected into my thigh, but afterward the spot on my leg was really sore. These days I pin my upper butt, and I apply ice for 10 min beforehand plus 10 min afterward. That takes some of the edge off, though it is still far from the most pleasant injection, that's for sure! I have been too nervous to give any other spot a try lol

Injecting into your butt seems incredibly difficult to me. Do you have someone else administer it for you?
