Just joined and I really appreciate everyone's posts, motivation, and advice. Honestly, I've been digging into this topic so much that my eyes feel like they'll pop out — I'm super hyper fixated on it at the moment. I was prescribed Wegovy and began it in early 2023; back then I hadn't researched much, so I figured reaching the max dose was the way to go. My PCP followed the titration plan, naturally, and by mid/late 2023 I was at 2.4. I stayed at that dose until 2.5 weeks ago. For more than 1 year I was stuck at a plateau and actually put on 10lbs (and I never reached my goal weight in the first place). I was close to asking whether I could be prescribed the new 7.2mg dose, but instead I came across Tirz via a Telehealth platform and paid for 12 weeks of it, so I moved directly from 2.4mg of Wegovy to 10mg of Tirz. The doctor suggested I begin at 12.5, but to play it safe I went with 10. After my first 10mg injection, that night was okay, yet the following day I felt as though a truck had run me over. My body was extremely sore and achy, and I had no appetite. So it seemed to be doing something, but wow, that day was rough. By the next morning I was okay. I didn't drop any weight in week 1; in week 2 I was down 1lb. Appetite suppression is excellent at the moment, and I'm adding about 3-5k more steps per day compared to before I made the switch. I'll weigh in again this weekend, so I'll find out whether I've lost more. Overall, though, I feel better. After that I got hyperfixated on wanting to try Reta, so because of everyone's suggestions I have RT40 on the way. I'm unsure whether I'll stack, or keep going and use up the Tirz I still have and then move to Reta. I'm still working that out. I'm grateful to all of you here who help people like me build up my knowledge. I'm 38 Female and 5'5. SW on Wegovy was 222, the weight I got down to was 176. GW was 165. Starting weight on Tirz was 186.5
