Hello everyone ! I am RoseBlossom.
I stumbled my way here after what felt like a long period of doubts. I feel a bit of shame sharing it like this tbh, but I went through bariatric surgery some years ago. It has been a difficult, painful and yet rewarding journey. At first I thought this would be my miracle fix. I did try my best to be more active and fix my lifestyle but my body was just in starving mode which at the time I didn’t know it would be a bad thing
Now I’m paying for that mistake and losing weight has been close to impossible even on strict working out and dieting. Somehow I feel very ashamed like I failed ? I feel like the people who were proud of me after the surgery would be disappointed to see me now still struggling with weight ? Anyways I’m sorry for over sharing, I wasn’t sure where to start or what to say.
But this story is definitely why and what started this journey and the shame is what made me discover glp1 and peptides. I know this time it won’t be a miracle fix and I have to lock in
(I swear I’m a fun person outside of this story, I apologise
