Howdy yall. Complete beginner here. 43M SW 223, GW 170, the non-scale aim is feeling better and more athletic, and less uncomfortable.
I've been considering peps after coming across some chatter online. I'm overweight and getting older, not feeling as good as I figure I could.
Reta has my interest, but honestly I came to this forum to find info and all I'm seeing is folks discussing their experiences and asking what they should take.
Where should I start? I want to learn from the ground up before making that first commitment.
Did everyone on here learn about things through this forum? Or was this forum for finding the spot to get them from?
Let me hear ya
Glad you're here
My guess is that most members were already using a GLP-1 before they ever found this place — they'd been getting it from a pharmacy or through their physician. The real sticking point tends to be what it costs to buy branded products such as ozempic and moinjaro. As far as I can tell, they landed here while looking into cheaper / grey market sources for their GLP-1 (that's exactly how I ended up here).
So the bulk of folks on this forum already have some kind of GLP-1 background.
If you're completely new to GLP-1s, then speaking purely from my own experience, Tirzepatide beats Retatrutide by a wide margin when it comes to suppressing appetite. So if hunger control or binge eating is the thing you struggle with most, Tirzepatide might suit you best. Retatrutide can't match Tirzepatide on appetite suppression, though it does still take the edge off your hunger to some degree. That said, I've found Retatrutide outperforms Tirzepatide when it comes to staying on a consistent sleep schedule and just feeling a little better overall from one day to the next. So it really comes down to your main problem and what your relationship with food looks like to begin with. Ultimately both are excellent, and once you have a tool that makes the weight loss journey easier, you'll feel better about yourself. If I had to pick one, Tirzepatide works better for me than Reta.
On the supplier side, spend some time reading the supplier-specific threads and you'll start to see who the main players are. Pick from those and check the feedback. You'll also need to wrap your head around crypto, since crypto payment is the only option most suppliers take. Beyond that, YouTube has no shortage of videos walking you through peptide reconstitution, and there's a ton of info out there about dosing and so on.
At first it can feel like way too much information, but once you've made your first order and gotten comfortable with dosing and reconstitution, everything falls into place.
Wishing you the best on your journey
