I’ll just do a quick intro so I can contribute more down the road. Next week I hit 43, and I’m 6’2, 278lbs, with body fat sitting near 17%. I’d let things slide for a while and was drinking way too much, but lately I’ve been locked in on training and I’m closing in on 2 months without a drink. TRT got prescribed to me recently: I began at 200mg cyp/week, then the dose went to 225mg/week. On top of that I’m running 5.5ius gh, and roughly 3 weeks back I added Reta at 2mg, moving to 2.5mg this week. The scale hasn’t really moved since Reta started…. early on I dropped a few pounds, but once I put the gh back in I figure I’m carrying water because I’m visibly much leaner. Every day I train like an animal: 1 hour cardio plus 21 sets of heavy lifting. I use supplements and my diet is the best it’s ever been. It’s honestly a bit surprising that my weight won’t come down, even though my body composition is clearly different. Anyway, I’m looking forward to adding to the discussions. One more thing: I’m extremely well-versed in peds.

Before starting TRT, did you have bloodwork done? What were the results like?

My situation is close to yours, though my labs suggest Enclomiphine would work well in my case. The plan is to begin once it shows up.

I've considered gh too, but I'd rather hold off until I see some of the fundamental outcomes I'm after.

Yeah, bloodwork was done — my level came back at 4.8 while the reference range sits at 8.4-28.5. Being on taro test cyp suits me fine. I’ve already run anabolics before, and the alternatives just don’t appeal to me at all. Only a few months into TRT and I’m already feeling great.

Make sure you sort out your testosterone before you touch gh. My take: injections are the best route if you want optimal levels. My doctor is willing to push me to the top of the range, which a lot of doctors won’t do. I got lucky.
