Hey, like many folks just starting out, I want a source of information that beats reddit. The thing that draws me to this forum is how busy it appears, so I'm hoping the info stays current. I'm quite inexperienced with forums, so I hope I did this post correctly.

Glad to have you here! You'll find plenty of useful material in this community. My advice is to spend a while going through the discussions- and use the search function when you need particular details- this forum holds a huge amount of knowledge!! Wishing you the best as you move forward!

I’m also just starting out, and I’ve been spending a lot of time going through the different threads on this forum, soaking up whatever I can. There’s a ton of useful knowledge to pick up around here. Wishing you the very best as you move forward!

I'm 3 weeks in and have been ramping up gradually — 1mg for the first 2 weeks, then 1.5mg after that. Honestly, I can't tell whether it's doing anything. Sure, the scale has moved, but my appetite feels like it never shuts off and I'm white-knuckling it to avoid eating. Does this improve once the dose goes up, or did I end up with junk product?

At 2mg/wk of reta, that was the point where appetite suppression began to show up for me.

How does your diet look? You might want to bulk up your meals with vegetables so you feel fuller without taking in extra calories. Also, make sure you're sipping water consistently all day long.

I began with 2 mg/wk, which is what the study used. By week 3, I do have some appetite suppression—not close to tirz, though—and I can steer clear of snacks and sweets without much trouble. Reta also makes you pay if you slip up while taking it, for example by eating sweets... give it a go and you'll understand what I'm saying 🙂

for week 4, is moving up to 2mg the right call? my one worry is that the bottle is 10mg and I wont have any more until I place another order
