Hi everyone,

I just joined and thought I’d say hello.

For the last 6 weeks I’ve been on Mounjaro, and so far the results have made me happy. After I use up the pen I have now, my plan is to move over to grey-market tirzepatide, and I’m here to pick up knowledge from people who’ve already gone through that kind of change.

I can’t wait to read about what everyone has been through, absorb whatever I can, and add something of my own when possible.

Thanks for welcoming me.

Look into Retatrutide, it's significantly superior to tirzepatide. Ret works on the GLP, GIP and Glucagon receptors, while tirz only affects the first two. Ret is on the verge of FDA approval, either later this year or next.

My journey began with Sema, then I moved over to Tirz. A major difference I experienced was in the side effects—they pretty much disappeared once I was on Tirz.

When it comes to Reta, what stood out to you the most? Did it stay in your system longer? Did you see results sooner?

I've got an interest in reta too, and I've been curious about how it stacks up against Tirzepatide

My tirz journey began 7 months back. More than 40 lbs is gone, and I'm aiming to drop roughly 15 more. A couple months in, I brought reta into the mix. It seemed to give my weight loss a slight boost. I intend to keep stacking both until I reach what feels like "done." Sides have been minimal for me — lucky, I know — and low doses work well in my case.

As of today, my weekly routine is: 2mg Tirz plus 2.5mg Reta, both taken on a single day.

There are times I'll only do 1mg Tirz just to keep it active in my body. Running these N = 1 experiments and watching the varied outcomes is something I enjoy. On the comparison question? Tirz comes across as steady and pretty mild on my system. Reta, meanwhile, feels like it cranks things up somewhat. I realize some folks steer clear of R since FDA approval hasn't happened yet, but Lilly intends to make it available to a select group meeting certain criteria — which suggests to me it's likely quite safe. YMMV.

I appreciate you describing your journey. Since my Tz dosage is high, my goal is to lower it when I begin my R regimen. By the way, congratulations on how well things have gone for you.

I’ve been running the two of them too, purely out of curiosity. Today I went with reta 5mg and skipped tirz, and next week it’ll be 2.5 tirz alongside 3mg reta. Playing around with low doses is enjoyable once you know it’s safe and the worst that happens is no weight loss — and even in that case, I’ve noticed the scale stall while my waist got smaller, which is a huge win...

Agree! When the scale won't budge, I take out the tape measure for my waist and hips. It really shifts how I see things. Cheap thrills lol.

While on ret, I dropped roughly 2 pounds weekly and experienced zero side effects. My goal was just 25 to 30 pounds, so I was taken aback by how effortless it felt—almost as if I wasn't putting in any work. Over time, the hunger reduction gradually faded, yet during that period I picked up healthier eating patterns.

Reta has my attention, though 2.5mg of tirz each week already does the job for me. With just 10-15lb left to drop, there's no rush on my end. I've been training, so taking the weight loss slowly seems smarter while I recomp at the same time — that holds as long as appetite stays under control.

Had I been on a high tirz dose, stacking or swapping in Reta would already be something I'd have tested.

I’m still looking into Reta and my curiosity keeps growing. Would it be okay to add a small dose of Reta alongside Tirz?
