Hi everyone,

I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself.

I’ve been using Mounjaro for the past 6 weeks and have been pleased with my progress so far. Once I finish my current pen, I’m planning to switch to grey-market tirzepatide and am here to learn more from others who have made a similar transition.

I’m looking forward to reading about everyone’s experiences, learning as much as I can, and contributing where I can.

Thanks for having me.

Check into Retatrutide, much better than tirzepatide. Ret it targets the GLP, GIP and Glucagon receptors, Where tirz on targets the first two. Ret is very close to being FDA approved, later this year or next.

I started on Sema and switched to Tirz. One of the most noticeable changed was from the side effects which virtually went away when I got in Tirz.

What’s the biggest thing you noticed when it came to Reta? Was it lasting longer? Were the results quicker?

I'm interested in reta as well and was wondering how it compares to Tirzepatide

I started on tirz 7 months ago. Have lost over 40 lbs and plan to lose another 15 or so. I added reta a couple months ago. I felt it bumped up my weight loss a bit. My plan is to continue using both until I feel "done." I've been v lucky with limited sides and I respond well to low doses.

Current regimen, as of today: 2mg Tirz, 2.5mg Reta weekly, all on one day.

Sometimes I just take 1mg Tirz to keep it operating in my system. I like seeing the different results from my N = 1 experiments. As for how they compare? Tirz feels predictable and fairly gentle on my system. Reta feels like it revs things up a bit. I know some are put off of R bc it's not FDA approved yet, but Lilly is planning to provide it to a group of people who meet specific criteria, which makes me think it must be pretty safe. YMMV.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm on a high dose of Tz, so I'm hoping to bring that down once I start my R regimen. Congrats on your successful journey, btw.

I've been also using both just experimenting, today I just tried reta 5mg no tirz, next week 2.5 tirz and 3mg reta, it is fun to experiment with low doses when you see that it is safe and worst case scenario you just don't lose any weight, even then I've seen the scale plateau but waist shrink which is a big win...

I lost about 2 pounds a week on ret, no side affects at all. I only had 25 to 30 pounds to lose, and was surprised how easy it was, it was like I wasn't even trying. The appetite suppression slowly dwindled, but I learned better eating habits in that time.

I’m interested in Reta but respond well to only 2.5mg tirz weekly. Also only have 10-15lb more to lose so not in a big hurry. Been working out so I figure the slower the better right now for weight loss as I recomp at the same time. So long as appetite isnt the problem.

If I was high dose tirz then I would have already tried adding or replacing with Reta.

I’m definitely still doing my research on Reta but I’m becoming increasingly more interested. Is it acceptable to stack a small amount of Reta with Tirz?
