Hello! Brand new to the GLP-1 world. Wegovy was prescribed to me a few months back, only for my insurance to turn it down, and there's no way I'm covering $1,500 a month myself (GoodRX won't have me either). I found a different forum over on Telegram and read quietly for a few weeks before taking the plunge on Reta. Now I'm in a test group, waiting on results before that very first pin. Eager to soak up everything this place has to offer.
 
It really is frustrating how insurance handles coverage, particularly when people without medical training get to call the shots. I'm new here too, yet I've managed to learn a great deal in a very short period and I keep discovering new things daily. Welcome aboard, and best of luck with your journey!!
 
I'm in a comparable situation - for a year my insurance covered Wegovy and the results were really good, but then my plan changed, I ran out of medication, and now I'm slipping backward - the food noise is awful. So I'm trying to work out my next moves and how to keep going safely. Reta is something I'd also like to try, since it looks like a genuine step up from Wegovy - on Wegovy I had gastro side effects that were manageable, yet they never went away.
