Hi!

Beyond excited is what I am to have finally found a forum this full of information to help with my so many questions! 56 year old wife and mother of 3 - one set of twins. Losing weight and keeping it off is something I have tried everything under the sun for. First came Weight watchers and Bodybugg ( remember those). Then Fitbit tracking and MFP food logging. 2013 brought gastric sleeve surgery, then nutrition classes, and in 2021 the gastric sleeve was revised to bypass. Every one of which worked, until slowly I failed. GLP1 became an option and I jumped onboard 3/2024. Something finally worked, and before long losing weight, holding onto the loss and keeping that damn food noise at bay all followed. Where I am now makes me very happy and the loss has been maintained. It really feels like a miracle has been handed to me. Sometimes the mirror shows me someone I can't believe is me looking back. After all these years my life is finally back.

Unfortunately, my insurance coverage is gone, like so many others. Real as my anxiety and fear of regain is, much more appealing is the peptide world — long watched from the outskirts. Not simply for GLP1 but for other peps that this 56 yo menopausal woman could benefit from. So much to learn that I'm nervous, but my options being explored is exciting!
