After wading through a ton of 💩 on Reddit, stumbling onto this community feels like a relief. My time with Reta so far spans just a few months, so I'm still early in the game. Excited to pick up more knowledge and join in around here.

In the past, I handled moderation duties for forums at a nonprofit where I was employed, so I've got serious appreciation for the rules and guidelines this place runs on.

Much like yourself, I'm aiming to get past the hype and develop a deeper understanding. Around 2013 I briefly ran a forum of my own. Xenforo was the platform I used at the time, and this forum gives off a comparable vibe, so I'm curious whether they're still operating,

Wishing you the best as you pursue your learning goals.
