Hey everyone.

I'm a 37-year-old based in Germany. Over the past year I managed to shed some pounds using Semaglutide and Tirzeptatide (going from 112kg down to 92kg) while also putting on a good amount of muscle. Right now, though, my progress has hit a wall at 7.5 mg of Tirzeptatide.

Honestly, these drugs don't seem to suppress my appetite much overall. In my case, stimulants (which I take for ADHD) control it far more effectively, but I still struggle somewhat with hedonic eating and late-night binges. I'd rather not push Tirzeptatide to its maximum dose, so I'm considering stacking it with Retaturide to break through this plateau and drop another 10 kg, which should bring me to a sensible BMI.

Since I come from a biology and research background, I might be able to offer a scientific angle on GLP1-related topics. Excited to join the discussion!

From where I stand, 7.5 mg is more than your weight calls for. When I began 2.5 mg mounjaro(tirz) with a prescription 6.5 months back, I weighed 101 kg. One month later I went up to 5 mg, and 5 is where I remained the whole time. I dropped 22 kg, with no side effects or problems along the way.

As I mentioned, my weight has been stuck for some time, and I've never experienced that "oh, I forgot to eat" sensation.

Back when I was on semaglutide, for 1-2 days following each injection I couldn't really eat properly—if I tried, I'd end up vomiting or getting diarrhea. That ended up pushing some weight off me.

So dropping the dose feels like it goes against common sense.

Hey… I also come from Germany. Which part do you stay in? I‘m in Bayern. I‘ve been on Tirzepatid for roughly 2,5 years, but for a year now I haven‘t seen any progress.
