Hey everyone!

Peptides are completely new territory for me — my 1st injection was just last week. My weight has been a battle on and off for years.

Several medications were tried, but the side effects were more than I could handle. After my 1st pin, nothing negative happened at all. My hope is that peptides provide the extra push I need to finally shed the weight.

Joining this forum, I hoped to connect with others on the same journey & feel a bit less isolated.

Only a handful of people in my life know I'm trying peptides, and the majority are very doubtful, which gets me down sometimes.

Best of luck & thanks!

Hi there, and welcome aboard! It's a shame that skeptics seem to be all around you, yet the responses here show you've got plenty of company. I felt the same hesitation at first, and these days I'm a big fan!

Also great to know that nothing unpleasant has come up for you so far. Going slowly at the beginning matters, in my view, even when that delays visible progress. Fingers crossed this works out well for you! Wishing you the best as you keep going!

I had planned to begin at the smallest dose and increase it gradually. But then week 1 came and I took 1MG, and by week 2 I was already at 2MG lol.

Thank you!

Hey, I’ve gone through something like that too — people around me were doubtful. What’s worked for me is not letting peptides become the whole of who I am, and instead sharing real facts about them. That way, most folks either come around or we just agree to disagree. hope this helps!

For quite a while I doubted this whole thing as well. But after more than 1 month on it, it hit me: every moment spent hesitating was a missed chance to get closer to what I'm aiming for. Just make sure you look into it properly, stay consistent with how you eat and move, and you almost certainly won't look back!

Glad you're here—I just joined too!

What GLP are you using? Count me among those who've avoided unpleasant reactions (honestly, the only thing that comes to mind is a headache, likely from not drinking enough water).

Up to this point, I haven't been sorry at all!

Right now it's only reta, though KLOW is probably going to get added down the road. Before stacking anything else, I'd like to let reta run solo for a few months so I can keep an eye on side effects and that sort of thing.

How about you?

At the moment I'm only using Reta, but I'm hoping to begin pinning the GLOW blend or plain GHK-Cu before long! Two months in and I've already dropped roughly 15kg — pretty happy with how Reta is working for me right now haha

best of luck to you, i'm in the same boat. the only person who knows is my boyfriend, and even he freaked out. it really sucks, particularly when it's something you're sure will do you a world of good

My spouse and I generally keep things pretty private as well. The only issues we ran into came while increasing the dose, and for the most part it simply left us feeling wiped out — we count ourselves lucky on that front. It does the job, just take care of yourself out there.

I've noticed I'm a lot more fatigued. Ever since I began, getting past 6-7 hours of sleep each night has been tough. I can't really pinpoint the reason.

Glad to have you here! And kudos for getting started — that initial move isn't easy, particularly if past medications have left you with bad experiences.

Landing on something that doesn't immediately hit you with terrible side effects is a huge relief. That feeling is completely legitimate, and it's a solid foundation for what comes next.

Having friends or family who doubt you is a real downer, but you're in good company here. Plenty of folks choose to keep this private or share it with just a handful of people, since peptides are still widely misunderstood. This is the right spot to link up with others who truly understand, know the science, and are riding the same waves.

Go one dose at a time, take joy in the little wins, and ask anything that comes up along the way. Can't wait to hear how it goes for you!

Hi there! When my wife and I first started, we were total nervous nellies too. But then we learned that peptides are substances your body already produces naturally, and injecting them prompts the body to make more — so nothing foreign is being added to our systems. (that applies to some, not every peptide) I've battled with weight my whole life too, and I'm now down 45lbs in 2 months on reta

It all comes down to how much risk you're willing to accept. I use prescribed tirz and have no worries about it, yet I hesitated when it came to R.

Having thought it over, I'm on the verge of giving R a try.

Wishing you the best on your journey

So far I've had basically no side effects at all, and I know that's a fortunate position to be in.

Honestly, there's a part of me that regrets telling anyone. The reactions I got from those close to me were far more intense than I'd anticipated. Having a community where I can talk about this openly and pick up useful information means a lot to me.

Thank you!!

45# over 2 months is incredible!! That's so awesome for both of you. When you moved up, was it a gradual titration or did you just go for it? My plan is to remain at a pretty low dose for no less than 2 months prior to increasing. A bit of it is to stretch the $ (I still haven't tried the grey market) and a bit is so I can hopefully dodge any major side effects.

Hearing about what your boyfriend went through really saddens me. Having those close to you react poorly can be incredibly tough. Still, this place seems to have a wonderful group of people, and I believe that will make a big difference and feel genuinely comforting.
