Hi everyone,
I just joined and thought I’d say hello and tell you a little about where I’m at.
Tirzepatide has been part of my routine for a while, and I’ve dropped roughly 40 kg so far. At 1.84 m tall, I’m sitting at about 100 kg right now. The target I’m aiming for is 83–85 kg, and the reason isn’t only appearance — it’s about metabolic health and something I can maintain over the long haul.
Early on, tirzepatide felt remarkably strong. My appetite fell off a cliff, and the “food noise” basically vanished. For a stretch, even finishing normal-sized meals was a challenge. The scale moved down at a reliable pace, and for the first time in years, my mind wasn’t locked in a constant back-and-forth about eating.
These days I’m injecting 10 mg each week. Hunger itself is still mostly in check, but the food noise has been quietly returning, particularly at lunch. What I feel isn’t a strong physical need to eat — it’s more like mental static, plus being able to put away more than I could when I started. On top of that, my training hasn’t been as regular as it ought to be, and I’m aware that matters.
A large chunk of my life was spent in the “three-digit” kg range, and that number got its hooks into me. Getting past it has been a huge mental turning point. My bigger aim isn’t merely to shed more pounds — it’s to make sure I never end up back there.
I’m joining to pick up knowledge, swap stories, and see how other people handle this later stage, particularly once the scale slows down and the psychological piece moves to the foreground.
Happy to be here and eager to learn from everyone.
