Hello lovely people. Let me share a bit of my (our) backstory with you.
Roughly six years back, my girlfriend and I weren't doing well health-wise. We made the call to take action, so we hired a personal trainer who worked out of a small private space — neither of us could imagine ever walking into a gym. Jump ahead: the training style really clicked with me, I joined a gym, and since then I've been in the best shape of my life.
She, however, couldn't stand a single moment of it. Once she began lagging behind, measuring herself against me sent her to a genuinely dark mental place, and in the end she wound up in worse shape than before we'd begun. That's when semaglutide came onto our radar, and she got on it via the (extremely pricey) official channels. It transformed her life — and, indirectly, mine too.
Being an engineer, I'm drawn to whatever's newest in (medical) tech. Whether I'll ever personally use anything talked about here, I have no clue, but either way I enjoy picking up knowledge from all of you.
