Hey everybody!
Reta newbie here, but a GLP-1 veteran - 3 weeks in!
Quick backstory: F/33, 5'6", sitting at 248 now, aiming for 199 (for now
). My first Wegovy run was 2022-2023 and took off 70lbs. That year I was highly motivated (getting married will do that to you
), then pregnancy came and the pen went down. Cue postpartum me trying to get things back on track... four months into round two of Wegovy and, like everyone else in January 2026, insurance yanked the rug out. Cool, cool, cool.
So I did the obsessive-researcher thing. Down the rabbit hole I went, retatrutide turned up, I found a local source, and about three weeks ago I jumped.
Three weeks in:
Like I said, I've got my local guy, but relying on one person for information is exactly how you end up confidently wrong
. Knowledge means everything to me and I'd rather be in a community of people who genuinely know their stuff.
So hi! I'm here now and so grateful this space exists. Can't wait to learn from you all!

Three weeks in:
- SW on Reta: 260 > CW: 248, so 12lbs down

- Energy is genuinely BACK (on Wegovy I was dragging)
- My ADHD brain has gone noticeably quieter?? Didn't see that coming
- Waking up actually feels exciting, which is new
