Hi everyone. I live in the US and I've been using Zep for roughly 1 month. My primary and I felt sure my insurance would pick it up since I also have OSA, but insurance here in the states pulls tricks. My prescription isn't covered because, per my sleep study, my overall AHI comes out to 5.6 (so mild OSA), despite the fact that I'm diagnosed with moderate OSA on the basis of my REM AHI of 26 and being on CPAP. My doctor attempted an appeal, but the insurance company refuses to move.
Being on Zep is great, but paying $299 each month for the 2.5mg Kwikpen is not, so I'm looking into what else I can do. I realize the simpler compounding pharmacies are an option, but if T can be had for a lower price still, why wouldn't I?
