Began tirzepatide on Jan 9 2026. Down 8 pounds over a month. Suppose that's decent. Age 61, starting weight 281. Was always athletic back in my younger days. Mainly hoping to move around easier and deal with fewer knee and back issues. So hi, and perhaps we'll chat down the road.

Here's a bit of encouragement for you, kygolfer!

Same age here — 61. Back in 2021, the scale read 320 for me... when I began Tirzepatide, I was at 220lbs.

Thanks to the Tirz along with a few other peptide stacks, I can say with honesty that I haven't felt this great since my 30s.

Golf isn't my thing, but these days I ride horses — I can spend hours upon hours riding through forests and mountains. A beach body at this age isn't happening, but energy, vitality and a brain firing on all pistons are the new flex.

Wishing you well as you journey toward better health...you are going to get there.

Welcome aboard, and I hope you're discovering plenty of helpful info here. Great job on the progress you've made with your weight so far.

I'm also exploring what tirz or reta could offer for weight loss, plus how they might affect chronic inflammation.

Like you mentioned, back pain and weight loss are my biggest motivations. I have a scoliosis s curve that's quite severe, and it has ruined my lower facet joints as a result.

Best of luck with your peptide journey
